Soul Loss or Alter “Selves'' and Soul retrieval-Mending the Fragments. Using Transregression Therapy

Have you ever felt, after a painful experience in your life, that you never recovered, you weren’t your “old self,” or that a part of you “died”?

These feelings may indicate what is called soul loss, which is when a part of your vital energy (soul) leaves you during a traumatic event such as an accident, illness, loss of a loved one, or physical, sexual or emotional abuse. Soul loss is a protection mechanism which serves to protect us from unbearable suffering.

Soul Loss Or Alter “selves'' And Soul Retrieval-Mending The Fragmented Self

In the normal course of events, the soul piece should return automatically after a few hours or in a day or two. However, there are cases when it does not. In those cases, the soul piece has become permanently lost in the other-world and is either unable or unwilling to return. Finding and restoring a lost soul piece is commonly called soul retrieval. Note: Soul loss is a common cause of illness.

Symptoms of Soul Loss

There are many, many symptoms that are indicative of soul loss. It isn't necessary for you to have an extreme symptom to indicate soul loss. Do you feel you have lost vitality or passion about life? Do you have chronic feelings of shame, low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence? Do you have addictions to drugs, alcohol, or tobacco as a means of escape, loss of memory about a period of time in your life, unhealthy or unnecessary compulsions - such as excessive use of social media, the Internet, television, and pornography? Recurring thoughts about dying, or suicidal fantasies? Chronic feelings of shame, low self-esteem, or lack of self-confidence? Are you feeling disconnected from life, like you don’t really feel anything, or you feel you can’t connect to things? Post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD like symptoms? Disconnection or disassociation leading to feeling like the world is passing by without you, unusually selfish behavior, or a sense of wondering or not knowing why you're alive? Self-destructive behaviors, especially repetitive/cyclical ones? Do you keep wanting to return to a person, or a location that seems unhealthy or unlikely, even though there is no apparent reason for you to do so? Feeling disoriented or feeling uncomfortable in your own skin? Feeling of being “stuck” and/or inability to “move forward” in life? Anxiety disorders, love/sex addiction, and many others?

Here are a few simple examples:

- A person who is in a serious car accident at age seven, and part of her soul becomes “frozen” or “lost” in the moment of impact.

- A person who is raised by a codependent mother who uses the child for her own unmet needs, and part of her soul “stays” with the mother out of “loyalty” well into adulthood.

- A person who was sexually abused or raped, whose sexuality has been co-opted and trauma bonded with pain, thus resulting in soul loss or alter “selves.”

- A person who has survived conditions of war, genocide, famine, and so on, who has soul loss as part of a collective or ancestral pattern of trauma.

- Somebody who damages our self-respect walks away with more self-respect. Sometimes, the original loss is during birth - when we do not feel welcome. When we feel we didn’t get the entrance ticket to life itself, we always doubt if we have the right to exist and if we have a place that we can call our own.

How Does Soul Loss Occur?

As a rule, soul loss is due to trauma. Children are the most susceptible to soul loss, as they are more vulnerable than adults and are still more connected to the world of spirit or other-world than most adults are. When a child is abused or suffers great distress or unhappiness, he or she will often instinctively try to escape to the other-world to flee from the pain and to find peace or happiness. Grief over separation such as divorce or the end of a relationship can cause soul loss, as well as the loss of a beloved pet. A prolonged period of loneliness, feeling unappreciated or just being unhappy in an undesirable job or relationship can cause soul loss as well. Children who are ignored by their parents and who feel they are not being seen or heard, or aren't loved frequently suffer soul loss. Any form of sexual abuse, and in particular rape, causes soul loss. In cases of unconsciousness, whether it was caused by a head injury, anesthesia, ill health or drug abuse, may trigger soul loss. The cause is not as important as the fact that part of you is "out" during the unconscious phase and if you don't return fully, if a part of you stays out, you may end up having permanent soul loss. The lost piece of your soul also takes a piece of your energy body with it, leaving a permanent hole in your aura. You may go to a crystal healer or Reiki healer and they may temporarily close the hole in your aura, but it will soon re-open as long as a part of you is still missing.

Finding and Restoring a Lost Soul Piece - Soul Retrieval Integration

Trauma, which is relative – creates dissociation. We call this post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), an experience that manifests with mild to severe symptoms. Pharmaceutical companies sell us medications. People go to therapy for years trying to break free from a past event, release themselves from depression and anxiety, or to shift unhealthy life patterns. Sometimes they’re successful, but too often, the resolution is difficult. To restore lost soul pieces, Sabine utilizes a technique called Transpersonal Regression Therapy. It is a very powerful technique for soul retrieval integration.

What you can expect from the soul retrieval is feeling a sense of wonder, inspiration, the disappearance of disappointment and self-sabotage and a sense of ‘being in your body’. You will have a wonderful sense of groundedness and the ability to communicate clearly directly after soul retrieval. A person may also feel nothing at all. Feeling nothing at all is perfectly normal. It can take over a month to really feel the settling happen in order to notice any kind of shift. Healing is a process.

All healing happens in layers, and each session only addresses the layer that is presenting itself at the time. Each layer of healing is important no matter how insignificant it may seem at the time. After a period of Integration in which you, your body, your spirit, and your energy field have absorbed this session, you may choose to seek further healing from Sabine.
